Michael Moloney,Galway Airport Marketing Manager stated that " this continued growth in passenger numbers at Galway Airport is a clear ’vote of confidence’ in the airports’ vital role as a convenient gateway into and out of the Galway region for both business and leisure passengers".
He also said that this growth at Galway Airport necessitated a range of development works to be initiated and completed this year like improved car-parking facilities and a new improved Departures Lounge which is due to open before year end.
"We have plans for further exciting developments at the airport which will allow us to provide an even more convenient and hassle-free service for our customers during 2008 when we hope to break a few more records!"
