Car Parking at Galway Airport 

Corrib Airport Ltd. T/A Galway Airport operates all car parks at Galway Airport.

There are two car parks available ie;Car Park 1 which is located directly in front of the main Terminal Building,where Premium car parking rates apply (see Car Parking Charges) and Car Park 2,which is adjacent to the main Terminal Building where Standard car parking rates apply (see Car Parking Charges).

Baggage trolleys are available in both car parks.

After parking your vehicle in Car Park 2,please take note of the zone number (marked on the ground to the left and right side) in which you have parked so that you may easily locate your vehicle on your return.

Please note that the area immediately outside the Terminal Building is a Set-Down Area and Bus bay area ONLY.

Due to the volume of traffic using Galway Airport it is not permitted to await arriving passengers outside the Terminal Building. Unattended vehicles will be clamped (Release Fee €80)

Car Parking Payment

No matter which car park you use, remember to keep your car park ticket with you and pay the parking charges at any of the automatic pay stations located at the main Entrance to/Exit from the main Terminal Building before returning to your vehicle.

Car parking charges cannot be paid at the airport exit barrier. Please ensure payment is made at the automatic pay stations inside the terminal building before returning to your vehicle. 

Disabled Drivers

Drivers with reduced mobility may avail of dedicated parking spaces in Car Parks 1. 

These spaces are located at the nearest points to the Terminal Building in both car parks. Drivers should ensure that their vehicles have the appropriate sticker to identify them as reduced mobility drivers. Drivers with reduced mobility will be charged at the Standard car park rate irrespective of which car park they use. For payment these drivers should proceed to the airport Information Desk prior to returning to their vehicle.

Terms & Conditions of Use

Remember to keep your car park ticket with you and pay the parking fees at the automatic pay stations located in the Terminal Building before returning to your car.  Lost tickets will incur a €80 fee.  However in the instance of lost tickets, where you can provide evidence of your stay, normal car parking rates will apply.

Please note that the area outside the Terminal Building is a set-down area only, to facilitate the unloading of people and/or baggage.  In the interest of good traffic management, vehicles are not permitted to await arriving passengers outside the Terminal Building.  Attended vehicles will be moved on and the policy of clamping unattended vehicles is in place. 

There are a number of car parking spaces for drivers with reduced mobility which are located as close as possible to the terminal doors.  Drivers should ensure that their vehicles display the appropriate sticker on their windscreen to identify them as drivers with reduced mobility. 

The car park is open Monday - Sunday from 05:15am - 23:30pm (plus any operational hours required) and is monitored by 24-hour security surveillance.

Vehicles are parked in our car parks at all times at the owner's risk in all respects.  Neither the Airport nor any of its servants or agents accepts liability for any accident, loss or damage to persons, vehicles, accessories or contents however caused.  The placing of a vehicle in the car parks shall be deemed to be unqualified acceptance of these conditions.
