The Check-In desks at Galway Airport are located to your right as you enter through the main entrance door of the Terminal Building 

Guide on Check-In Times

• Galway Airport recommends that departing passengers plan to arrive at the Check-In area at least 60 minutes prior to their scheduled flight departure time
  
  
• Check-In for all flights will close at 30 minutes prior to the scheduled Departure time. There is no exception allowed.
  
  

Please keep your baggage close by at all times and take care of credit cards, passports and other important documents while at the airport.

Please refer to the Flight Information screens located above the Information Desk and in the Departures Lounge.

These screens list flight departures for your destination, boarding time and gate number.

Boarding usually begins around 30 minutes prior to departure.

ONLINE CHECK-IN

Online Check-in enables passengers to check-in on line from the comfort of their own home or office.  Using online check-in saves time at the airport, by avoiding check-in queues.

Online check-in can not be used by the following passengers:

a)      Passengers travelling with checked baggage

b)      Children up to 16 yrs travelling alone

c)      Passengers travelling with infants

d)     Passengers who require special assistance at 
        the airport

Online check-in is available on the following routes:

• Galway - Dublin - Galway
• Galway - Manchester - Galway
• Galway - Edinburgh - Galway
• Galway - Luton - Galway
  
  

Online line Check-in procedures:

Online check-in can be used by passengers travelling with HAND LUGGAGE ONLY (which is one piece weighing a maximum of 7kg with maximum dimensions of 20cm x 28cm x 43cm and which does not contain any prohibited items).  Passengers will need to present a valid form of I.D. at both airport security and the boarding gate.

Passengers can check-in online from 72 hours up to 3 hours prior to their flight.  This can be done on their airlines website e.g. www.aerarann.com.

Passengers must be at the boarding gate 20 minutes prior to scheduled departure time (even in a delayed situation).  If a passenger fails to arrive on time Galway Airport on behalf of the airline will offload the passenger and they will be denied travel.
