The Edinburgh International Festival is an annual feast of classical music, opera, theatre and dance.
The 2010 Edinburgh International Festival programme will be an exciting journey through a three week celebration of the arts which transforms the city and brings people together from all corners of the globe.
The 2010 programme of theatre, music, opera, dance and the visual arts highlights Scotland's influence on some of the world's great artists and artistic endeavours, and reflects on that extraordinary moment in Scottish history considered the foundation of much of modern thinking.
