Since its foundation, 39 years ago, the Interceltic Festival of Lorient ( le Festival Interceltique de Lorient) promote the interceltism: a common identity based on the diversity of cultures.

Today, on international level it became one of the largest festivals and every year one celtic country is invited to be guest of honor.
